Ian Ebright | Founder, Lead Writer

Ian spent his late teens and early 20s as a journalist and film critic for his online magazine The Entertainian. He was hired to continue the website for UGO.com and later Fandom.com.  During that time, Ian made appearances on television, radio and at the San Diego Comic Con. He was also a contributing writer for worldwidecritic.com.

Ian started The Broken Telegraph in 2008, after realizing his passion for writing had shifted towards faith, life, culture and human rights issues.

He has conducted interviews with people including actors Terence Stamp and David Arquette, platinum-selling singer/songwriter and ‘Dishwalla’ frontman J.R. Richards, ‘War of the Roses’ novelist Warren Adler, author and pastor Richard Dahlstrom, and a Special Forces Captain in a two-part series about the War on Terror.

In addition to his role as The Broken Telegraph’s lead writer, Ian has written for RELEVANT Magazine and is a contributor to Tony Campolo’s Red Letter Christians. His writing has also appeared on the Patheos blogs slacktivist, Kurt Willem’s Pangea Blog, and Richard Dahlstrom’s Fibonacci Faith.

Ian lives with his wife and daughter in Seattle.

Tiffany Lucus | Writer

Had you told Tiffany five years ago that writing would have meaning in her life, she would have called you a fool.  Had you gone even further and told her that writing would be a valuable means of personal expression, she would have laughed in your face.

Tiffany has always considered English to be her weakest subject and previously thought writing to be a very large chore. But over the past couple of years at The Broken Telegraph she has relished the opportunity to share life: the hurt, joy, and the journey. Tiffany writes in order to reach out to others who might also be in her shoes, and in doing so, has grown in community with readers here and has enjoyed every minute of it.

Tiffany was born and raised in Edmonds, Washington, where she currently lives with her husband Dave, her pug Bocephus, Dave’s lab Watson, and a feline named Suess.

A sample of her writing:

I Want to Know Your Story, Just Not Like This

Abortion and My Journey Back to Grace

My Life Has a Purpose. Now How Do I Find It?

My Divorce Brought Pain and Pointed Fingers

On That Pivotal Day, Loss Began

Tiffany is currently reading:

magazines, blogs, and recipe books

and currently listening to:

Kelly Clarkson | Stronger
