Ian’s New Film Reaches Picture Lock; Adds Music & More

After three months in the cutting room with editor Eric Frith, Ian’s new film as writer/director— the narrative short ‘The Devil Needs a Fix’—reached picture lock this week. The film—a cross between a haunted parable and a dark comedy—will now be colored by Tim Maffia (Lynn Shelton’s Your Sister’s Sister) and receive its audio design and mix from the Emmy-winning team at Bad Animals in Seattle.

The film will also be populated with music by Finnish alternative band Husky Rescue (pictured above), including original music composed for the film by the band’s founding member and lead musician Marko Nyberg. Husky Rescue’s compositions have previously appeared on television shows including ‘The Sopranos.’

Ian and the ‘Devil’ team are working to complete ‘The Devil Needs a Fix’ for the start of the film festival submission season.
