Ian Wins Best Directing at Global Film Competition
Accolade Global Film Competition recognized Ian’s directing on Pinwheel Horizon with their Award of Excellence—one of four wins given to his fantasy/sci-fi short film:
- Award of Excellence: Direction
- Award of Excellence: Leading Actress
- Award of Excellence: Ensemble Cast
- Award of Excellence: Editing
Now in its 20th year, the global film competition was named a top 25 film festival by MovieMaker magazine. Past awarded films and filmmakers have gone on to win Academy Awards. Ian’s first short film—the Arabic-language thriller From the Sky—won the Award of Excellence Special Mention at Accolade 2014.
