Award-winning writer/director Stephanie Gardner has included ‘From the Sky’ in a collection of acclaimed short films for an evening celebrating “the art of global filmmaking, with films and filmmakers from around the world.” The Red Carpet Film Screening & After Party will be held at the Emmaus Theater this Saturday, October 3rd at 4:00PM, and marks the Pennsylvania premiere for ‘From the Sky.’
Following the Emmaus screening, ‘From the Sky’ will play eight more times throughout October as an Official Selection of six film festivals, four of which made MovieMaker Magazine’s top festival lists in 2014 and 2015. ‘From the Sky’ is approaching the end of its festival circuit run; the film has received 12 awards, 5 nominations and 26 Official Selections since it debuted a year and a half ago at the Newport Beach Film Festival.
