Ian’s debut ‘From the Sky’ expands beyond Vimeo and YouTube in August by partnering with the online short form streaming service Bitpix. The film is one of 400 shorts curated for the launch of the new outlet, which was founded by HollyShorts Film Festival. Bitpix is currently available at bitpixtv.com, can be accessed through Roku and Amazon Fire, and will soon arrive on Apple TV. You can find ‘From the Sky’ under Bitpix’s ‘Drama’ and ‘Foreign’ genre sections.
This expansion comes as Ian’s debut reaches the end of its film festival circuit run, which began in April 2014 at the Newport Beach Film Festival. Last month, ‘From the Sky’ had its television premiere on PBS’ Seattle affiliate KCTS 9, began streaming on PBS.org, and screened on Alaska Airlines’ in-flight entertainment network.
