The Way We Speak is an official selection of the 2024 Gig Harbor Film Festival (GHFF). Since its founding in 2007, GHFF has become one of the fastest-growing independent film events in the Pacific Northwest, and is a FilmFreeway Top 100 best reviewed festival.
GHFF has programmed all four of Ian’s films—nominating his third short Pinwheel Horizon in their 2023 Best of WA category and awarding his second short The Devil Needs a Fix the winner of the 2017 Best of WA category.
