Ian’s feature screenplay Dame Boreal is a finalist at the 2025 Anchorage International Film Festival (AIFF). The eco-horror thriller is one of a handful of stories that will compete for the prize at AIFF’s 25th annual event.
It’s the second consecutive year the MovieMaker Magazine top festival has welcomed Ian’s work. The Way We Speak was an official selection at AIFF 2024—where it won three awards including Outstanding Writer of a Narrative Feature.
AIFF 2025 happens December 5-14 in Alaska.
