Pinwheel Horizon played three film festivals on three continents and received 13 nominations during the month of August.
The Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival—the largest genre festival in Australia—nominated Pinwheel lead Cassie Stires for their Best Actress in a Short Film category, while the Port of Fear Film Festival in Wisconsin nominated Ian’s latest for their Best Science Fiction Short category. The PopCon International Film Festival in Indianapolis also noticed Pinwheel Horizon with 11 nominations including Best Short, Best Director, Best Story, and Best Hero.
