The Way We Speak is a semifinalist at the 2024 Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF). The Oscar-qualifying and MovieMaker magazine top 50 festival previously selected Ian’s short films The Devil Needs a Fix and From the Sky—the latter winning their 2014 International Humanitarian Award grand prize.
