Following an April screening at the Oscar-qualifying RiverRun International Film Festival in Winston-Salem, The Way We Speak travels to the Tar Heel State as an official selection of the 10th annual Footcandle Film Festival (FFF). FFF is a gold-ranked FilmFreeway event “designed to bring unique, challenging and entertaining films and filmmakers to Western North Carolina.”
The Way We Speak screens Friday, September 27 at the Hickory Community Theatre in downtown Hickory—as one of five narrative features screening at FFF 2024. Costar Diana Coconubo (pictured above) is scheduled to attend and lead the post-screening Q&A.
