The Way We Speak will have its Pennsylvania premiere at the sixth annual Centre Film Festival—a gold-ranked FilmFreeway event known for programming “local films with global impact as well as global films with local impact.”
The Way We Speak screens at the Foster Auditorium on the Penn State campus this Wednesday, November 6. Lead actor and 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards nominee Patrick Fabian is also a Penn State alum. Film Critic Anne Brodie singled out the cast in her four-star review of the film, saying “Fabian’s knife-edge performance…a stellar, memorable even risky piece of work. Coconubo, Rhodes, and Berkshire make a spectacular ensemble.”
