The Way We Speak is an official selection of the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival (JDIFF)—one of three film festivals screening Ian’s feature debut in the month of April. Founded in 2012, JDIFF has been named a Top 100 festival on FilmFreeway, received recognition in Variety, and ranked as one of MovieMaker magazine’s “25 coolest film festivals in the world.”
