Pinwheel Horizon—a minimalist sci-fi/fantasy story and Ian’s third film as writer-director—will be composed by two musicians known for shaping the landscape of ambient music.
Billow Observatory is comprised of Denmark’s Jonas Munk and Detroit’s Jason Kolb. Backseat Mafia called their 2017 LP II a “cavernous beauty of an album.” As solo artists, Jason is the lead guitarist for Auburn Lull, and Jonas collaborates with musicians including renowned electronic artist-producer Ulrich Schnauss.
